January 2024 Ambassador Box

January marks the beginning of a new Island Batik Ambassador year. In January and July, Ambassadors receive a new box filled with supplies to complete the monthly challenges. This January box did not disappoint!

First up, are the stash builder sets. Each package contains 2.8 yards of 5" strips in rolls. These stash builder rolls are very versatile and can be cut down to 2-1/2" strip sets too.

Then there are the pre-cuts! 10" squares and 2-1/2" strip sets. Doesn't Tantalizing Teals make you want to escape the cold and head to the Caribbean?

And, for you purple lovers. 10" squares of Playful Purples. So pretty!

Then there are the Fire and Ice 10" squares. Look at the design on the fabrics; so intricate and beautiful.

These two batiks coordinate with Fire and Ice. Loving that raspberry!

If you know me, you know how much I love the black, white and gray batiks. They are high quality fabric and are not see through. I use a lot of these three batiks.

Another 2-1/2" strip set! Rollin' Round with its teals, peachiness, raspberry, gold and olive green. There are additional coordinating fabrics that can be used with Rollin' Round.

1/2 yard bundles of foundations and blenders.

Fuchsia, orange, yellow, green, purple and gold.

MONARCH. Designed by Kathy Engle and shipping to stores in February. This is the bundle of goodness that I will be making my February challenge quilt with. Such a lovely print of the Monarch butterfly in different color ways. There are two coordinating fabrics to use with Monarch: red and a gold print.

Here is my new baby! A brand new Oliso ProPlus Iron. It has some great new features: iTouch, Diamond Ceramic Flow, 2 inch detail tip, extended auto shut off, triple play steam, built-in spray and anti drip system.

My Deb Tucker Studio 180 Design tool this year is the V Block ruler. I cannot wait to use this tool.

We also received batting from Hobbs Bonded Fibers, thread from Aurifil, a pattern from Funky Friends Factory, bag supplies from ByAnnie, and needles from Schmetz. All of the fabric is from Island Batik.

There is also a surprise bundle that cannot be shared yet. I will be making a quilt for the May blog hop using that bundle.

Thank you to Island Batik and all of the sponsors of the Ambassador program. Be sure to check out the other Ambassadors blogs!

It is always fun to see what is in everyone's Island Batik ambassador box. I will be making a quilt with the Monarch collection also!
